About Coach Emma

Emma Lorenzen, Chief of Programming and Director of Volleyball at Dream Athletics, has been a dedicated member of the volleyball community for over 14 years. She played as a middle blocker and team captain at McDaniel College and has extensive coaching experience, including Head Coach roles for 15U and 16U travel teams, Liberty High School girls varsity, and Liberty Elite Travel club 18s national team. She has also served as an Assistant Coach for St. Lawrence University Women’s Volleyball, SUNY Potsdam Men’s Volleyball, and North Hagerstown High School girls varsity and junior varsity teams. Emma has coached D1-D3 players, All Americans, and first-generation Americans, leading teams to significant achievements such as the Liberty League Conference Championship appearance in 2021 and the Maryland 3A State Championships in 2023. Passionate about empowering athletes, especially young female athletes, Emma strives to create an environment where hard work, determination, and dedication are celebrated, helping every athlete reach their full potential and inspiring the next generation of volleyball stars to dream big and soar even higher.
